Most movements used in CrossFit require a bit more attention to technique than you may be used to. We don’t use machines found in a “normal” gym because we believe that no machine in existence can match a properly-executed squat, muscle-up, kettlebell swing, or clean and jerk when it comes to delivering strength, power, and all-around fitness.
Step 1: Try It
CrossFit is technical, demanding, and rewarding, and many people prefer to be exposed to at least one workout prior to training with us. We host free workouts twice monthly on Saturday mornings so you can experience first hand what CrossFit is all about.
These workouts stick to basic movements so you won’t need previous experience or special instruction to participate. All fitness levels are welcome and each athlete can scale the workout to their current level.
Come meet the coaches and athletes that make CrossFit Leander much more than a gym. Check our online schedule for the next Saturday workout.

Step 2: Learn It
To familiarize you with the movements and skills you’ll need during a typical CrossFit workout we require the completion of the Elements course. This course ensures you understand how to safely and effectively perform the basic exercises, and it also gives you a taste of what CrossFit is all about.
Already an experienced CrossFitter? Fill out our sign-up form and our coaches will get you plugged into the right place.
Step 3: Live It
After you’ve completed the Elements course you can sign up for one of our membership programs. Check the schedules page to see what class times are available. Don’t see a class that fits your schedule? Contact us!
